Default digital servo issues...

Hi! This is my first post, but I need your input! I recently ran my car, and it of course, got dirty and wet, but still worked beautifully. After the run, I used nitro cleaner to get the garbage off, like every other time. This time however, after a half hour after everything dried, I switched everything on to make adjustments, and the HS-5625 servo smoked. Long story short, it only moves in one direction now... What can I do? Is it salvageable? I liked that servo...

Thanks for your help in advance,

-Casey

Sounds like it's gone....

contact: Mike

By what is stated, this would not be covered.

Do you get the same thing on the servo if you swap Ch. 1 with Ch. 2 on the Rx?

Thanks for your help! Yes, the same thing happens. I've currently replaced it with a 5645 for brake duty and everything is quite happy again. I've only had the one in question for not quite 2 mos., and this has never happened! Not even to my lesser servos.

It's hard to say.....

Servo price would have very little to do with this...
Most servo's are not water-tight....

Liquids and electronics never mix well.
