Multiplex

Hey folks, anything new on the Multiplex-Hitech connection. Will this mean better marketing for the Multiplex radios. I love mine and I'm always talking them up to people but rarely find others who have actually seen one or used one. It's a shame their missing out on such a great system.

Multiplex does have a synthesised module and receiver for the Profi line that will be available. I think Karlton was having the radios modified for Hitec/Futaba shift so I don't know how that is going to work.

My Profi 707 is basically brand new (Ive used it twice), but everytime I take it out at the track, I have range problems. I used it with the Novak Xxtra Rx. Does the Profi have problems with that Rx?
Where will the Profi radio equipment be available, and do you have an estimate on the price for the frequency synthesised module?

I have two Profi 403 and one Profi 301 radios and I have never had a range issue. I use Novak Xxtra, Novak Mercury, Novak XXL and Airtronics FM receivers with the matching Airtronics receiver crystal for my transmitter crystal.
If a synthesized Tx module is developed for these Profi transmitters I would be extremely interested. Heck, I'd even volunteer to test one out for you guys at Hitec. Call me!

i love my 403, but my only gripe is with the batteries that came ith it. i got it over a year ago, and it came with 600mah batts. i couldn't stand them because they died very fast so built my own pack using 1700mah nimm. this should be standard. i am also eagerly awaiting a 2 chanel fm receiver or a 2 channel switching receiver and module. i also love it.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the update. Which receiver are you referring to?? I looked on the website but all the receivers, especially in 75mhz, require crystals. Maybe I'm reading wrong. Thanks

Mike - sounds fine. I need Tx crystals on channels 75, 82 and 90. Can I place my order online?
