Default Some new Lynx 3D questions from newbie.

Just bought the Lynx 3D. I must say, it looks and feels awesome havent tried it out yet, cause of the DARN winter and all the snow. So, here are my questions, numbered:

1. I am left-handed, and want to convert it. Looking in the user manual, it only says: refer to the diagram below. And that diagram i think is not very illustrative, or, at least I dont understand it. Anyway, can you explain how to do it? are there any screws that needs to be removed?

2. when the battery is fully charged, how many V will it show? and when its worn out?

3. If i am not going to use the radio for some months, what is the best way to keep batteries in good shape while not using them? wear them out, or charge them before I lay them away?

Ok, thanx!

Paul,
Norway.

1. I think you have to remove a few screws, turn the grip and re-install

2. Right after charged they will read in the low 11's and quickly drop to mid 10's, should stay around that for most of the time. The warning beep will come on at 9.4 I think.

3. they are nicad so discharged is best, tou might want to cycle them every once and a while

so, if i'm not gonna use the radio for a month or two, i just let the radio stay on until no battery is left, and then store the batteries ìn a cold room or something?

just leave the radio on for a few minutes after the warning beep comes on, you don't want to totally discharge them or they might become damaged
