My new transponder came in yesterday, I should be able to make it out to the track here Friday or Saturday night. Which night is the better night to go? Id rather have more people there than less.

I really enjoyed my time at W3 yesterday. Jim was very welcoming, and his staff was professional and nice. The layout was challenging and fun and the size of the track was great. Jim certainly earned the big boy pants, haha.

I can't wait to go back.

Kind of early to tell.. opening weekend it was about even Friday and Saturday nights at right around 100 entries and 15 heats. Light on Sunday because of Easter. This weekend there were about 10 heats Friday and Saturday but there were some other events going on in town.

Last Tuesday was great too. I think 6 or 7 heats. Tuesday had a more laid back feeling. Good racing and done by 10 which is nice on a weeknight.

Thats all there is really to go by right now.

Today was about like Tuesday. Started at 1:00 and got done at about 5:00. Nice to be home in time for dinner. KB ran the races and it went quick. Extended 8 min lower mains and 10 min A's. Had a blast and everyone seemed laid back. Thanks Jim, you have another Sunday regular.

I wish everyone ALWAYS ran 10 min A's. There is very little 'net time' saved/gained shortening them.

You need to focus more on making the A rather than how many minutes it is

I have been running 69-31 seems to have a little more punch which helps at the double into the bowl turn. I am also running short packs.

That may be helpful. I know by the end of a 8-10 min main I have a tough time with that double. A little more low end punch may help

How are you going to get a 31/66 to fit if I use a 30/69 the mesh is a little loose and thats as far as the motor screw slots let you move the motor forward. If you dremel the slots the trans case stops you. I dont know any Manufacturer who makes that small a spur that will fit the 3 pad slipper..
Just sayin

I believe TP is running the AVID Triad and they have a 66 tooth spur.
Now will a 31 fit? we'll find out
