Scottsdale RC Speedway Track Update-
In preparation for the Cactus Classic the track will be closed the week of Feb 23-27 for track rebuild. The track will be open for racing on the new track layout on the following days. Other then these days the track will not be open for practice.
Racing- Sat Feb 28th
Racing- Wed Mar 4th
Racing- Sat Mar 7th

Nope. All race days leading up to the Cactus will be run wet as normal. The practice days will be Dry but they still water the track every night. This keeps the moisture in it and keeps it together. Otherwise it would be a dustbowl.
Plus, AZ00lude it is typical not to run 1/8 on the new track before the cactus. (at least the last 15 years I have been around)

Yes the dad is correct! There will be no 1/8 scale allowed on the track until after the cactus classic, just like every year. This weekend will be the 1st race on the new track and it will be run wet up until cactus week. There will only be practice on race nights up until the monday before the cactus. If you have more questions just call the shop.

Thanks man, i ran 70 weight in the rear last week (that's what came in it from the guy i got it from) and my back end was constantly going over my front.
While I'm on for the night I'll ask if anyone has a race ready SRS truck set up for sale. --i'm trying to get another friend into this (he'll be number 4)
