Ya it was a really good night they had 105 entries with 16 heat races. The new layout is really nice the average lap times were around 35 seconds. I really like the design its very technical and challenging the six pack is tricky to do consentintly every lap. Also the step on step off was a pretty fun section. All u guys should go kit and give it a try for sure. Mike Beaver did a good job on it.

Default WOUNDED WARRIORS FOUNDATION

Last year I attended this event. I volunteered my time, donated a couple "rtr" rock crawlers, and had a great time meeting all the young kids that keep us safe.
It really put things into perspective for me. We think we have it tough, we got it made my friends.
This organization: Wounded Warriors, makes wounded soldiers' lives a bit more comfortable as they come home from duty. Providing homes, jobs, training, therapy, etc.
4x4 Corps is group of 4wheelers that put on event and donate EVERYTHING to the Warrior foundation.
4X4 Corps take soldiers, and their families out on the trails for a weekend of fun & relaxation. Last year I heard one soldier tell a trail leader that this was the most fun he's had since he came back home. He had been home, and still in the hospital for 4 years.
I'm going to do my best- to attend this event again this year, and I plan on donating product for the raffle. This will help rais money for the Foundation, and get these Soldiers the much needed care they deserve.
If any of you small business's out there would like to get in on this great cause, and donate something for the raffle ( rtr car, hats, t-shirts, anything),
It would be greatly appreciated.
It is all tax deductable, and your good name will be mentioned, and promoted.
Please, help those that dedicate themselves to your well-being.
You can contact me for more info.

Default 1/10 buggy tire suggestions

I was out at SRS last night and the track layout is fantastic. But I struggled for traction w/ my 1/10 buggy. I was using jconcepts double dee's and groovy's both green. I think I need something w/ a taller and less dense pin, and maybe some pins on the front. Please help.

I have had good luck with the combo you described (DD's and Groovy's Green) As do many. Maybe it is a setup issue. I have also ran AKA Impacts but when the track is more setteled. When it's newer I like the DD's

I don't doubt I need to do a little setup work but when the track is moist I'm sliding around. I was thinking I needed a taller pin to get through the soft stuff to some traction.

M4 square fuzzies and holeshots have been working for me when the track is moist.

Ya last night a few guys were using square fuzzies and liked them a lot. I ended using suburb fronts with aka impacts in the rear on my b4.1 and it was hooked pretty good when the track was pretty wet.
