Yep the Celtics focused on shutting down Kobe.... Forced someone else on the lakers to step up.....Didn't happen. Celtics proved why Kobe is League MVP.
Jordan had a better supporting cast. If his game was off, Pippen was reliable to compansate. John Paxson was there to distribute the ball... No team could focus solely on Jordan, that is the difference.
