Vereck is probably easier to get off I-10 at Palo Verde and head north to Ajo. Then south on Country Club. Im just guessing since I come from the other direction.

Thumbs up CV

I stopped by to see the track today for the first time and they mean business. The current layout is 1/8 FABULOUS and loaded with big air.

It will be ultra cool with the SC's too. I'm fired up about getting to smell the fumes again.

Huzzah!

Hey Guys

I hope everyone is doing well.

Would anyone happen to have a front shock for the Losi 8 buggy that you would like to sell before the CV race?

At the least looking for a Bottom Shock Cap and some O Rings.

Default ACS Round #1

Thanks to everyone who came out to support our first hosting of the ACS. Looked like everyone liked the track and facility. They seemed to have a good time and enjoyed a good day of racing and thats what its all about. We were a little disappointed with the showing from the Phoenix area, but we know it was because of lack of planing and promoting of the Series. There would have been 100 plus entries like in the past if the Series would have been promoted months ahead, like flyers in all the shops, posted on all our web sites and announced at weekly Club Races. We have talked to the staff at The Nitro Pit and asked them to let us host the other round that ET track denied and to post that you must come to the next two races in Tucson to be eligible for the points series. That would make the series alot more balanced, because everyone would have to commit to supporting the series instead of just the Tucson racers. As it stands now, you can throw away 2 races and still be in the points series, so the Phoenix area racers do not have to support the series and travel like the Tucson racers do. We were also surprised not to see the t-shirts for the opening round and trophies for the top 3 racers, as was done in the past. That was why we had agreed to take a smaller portion of the entry fee, because they said they were giving back to the racers. We need to check with them to see if it was just because they fell behind in getting things together or if they are planning to give them out at a later date. If you would like the Nitro Pit staff to consider having us host a 3rd Round in Tucson, let them know and hopefully they will listen to the racers. Thank you once again, for everyone coming out and supporting the race.
