Just click on the link at the top. Way cool looking track. Just take hwy 75 on the mountain until it deadends then turn right. Andy wants some of us to go and do some laps on the concrete soon.

mxrich 07-10-2010 07:41 AM

You remember concrete don't you? Anyhoo, it looks to be a nice track and not as far as going to ATL. Jamie probably knows the track better than the owners by now.:D

Spider004 07-10-2010 10:17 AM

Yes still working on getting lights up but power company has been real busy since storms.

What time could you make it? There is some talk to run both tracks with onroad first then offroad in the evening.

July 31st we will run both tracks with onroad first and then offroad later in the day. More details on exact times will be posted later in week. This should work for a lot of racers for both tracks. If it works good may do this every weekend.

There was 4 guys that stayed all day and a few that were around for a while and had to go. We have a few more buying and building trucks, so for first race it looks very good for future races.

Spider004 07-12-2010 10:41 PM

Looking to run weekday evening races and would like any input on what day would be best. Thanks

scblazen 07-13-2010 02:35 PM

Check out the tracks on youtube (abrasionrc) . Dirt track got a good soaking by the rain an should be even better. T-bagg did a great job on the track. Awsome jumps, big air, and great traction. Now he needs to learn to drive that sc10!:D

Spider004 07-13-2010 03:16 PM

1st Annual September Showdown will be held September 3rd and 4th. More details on the way.

scblazen 07-13-2010 09:59 PM

The clay for the oval was brought last fri.. putting the finishing touches on the dirt track then starting the oval. The rain tighten up and cleaned off the track, ran on it today and the truck was hooked up 100% better . LETS RACE!!!

You know u got it made when your lunch break includes turning some laps!
Must be nice.

mxrich 07-15-2010 08:08 AM

As soon as I can set a date for the gang to get together we will come down there to run the F1's on the concrete track. Can't wait for that, should be a lot of fun. We will have a carpet track right after the Alpha race in IL. Maybe a series could be in the near future. Would not hurt my feelings any.:D Pass the word to the locals that there are a lot of cars and parts on the market that people don't know about. Let me know and I'll give the info.

Well if you want a big race I have someone that could help. My racing partner in IL want's to come down for an F1 gathering and he loves to sponsor these events. I think I remember there being VTA and touring cars in your area so might as well send the word out when we set a date. I know the F1 d-drives will use silver can motors and 6 cell or LiPo for 8 minutes. If someone still has a Tamiya F201 just take the front shaft out (and the front diff if they want to) and run it as a 2wd with a 27T ROAR stock motor to even it out. I still have a couple of MLP F201's, I may run one of them just to see how it does.

Spider004 07-16-2010 02:03 PM

60% chance of rain tommorow for anyone planning on traveling.

Hobby shop and track will be open to anyone wanting to make it out.

Spider004 07-18-2010 05:04 AM

The rain kept most racers away yesterday. Thanks to the few that came out.

Next Saturday will be offroad the Saturday the 31st will be Onroad and Offroad in the same day.

Looks like it is going to be pretty good turnout this Saturday.
Hard to say regular turnout since we just took it over and will be re-working schedule.

Come on and check it out.
