this is an early invite to get the VTA racers to race together at the up and coming "BIG" Trans-am races this year...BTH/X-ray Challenge in Memphis,TN, GA On-road Champs, Top Gun.....and later in the year..we have the Music City Championship in Nashville in September 2009.

Alabama guys- I don't know if you saw it on the news, Brian I'm sure you probably have, a guy was killed in a plane crash on Saturday leaving Huntsville. It was a good friend of mine and the Hobbytown owner here in Florence. We will be having a Memorial race coming up soon. I will keep you informed. This will be a off-road race.

Entry fee: $15 per class non members $10 per class members

Open 10th Stadium Truck
1/8 Buggy
1/8 Truggy
Monster Truck ( We will seperate the Electric and Nitro if there are enough)
Sportsman Class (Run what you brung) This is for racers that have not been racing long. If you run too fast you will get bumped up to the regular class that your vehicle is.
We will have a Spec Slash Class if we have 5 or more sign up.

Monster truck has been great. More electric than nitro. No slash class. 1/10 open truck has been the biggest class. We don't have any power yet. We are waiting on the electricity department to come inspect and hook it up. We were hoping to have it before the race. We will have to wait and see.
