Hey guys, I've got the itch to get my electric off road stuff running and I had some questions for you.

I'm looking for directions coming up from Champaign/57. I'd rather not have to go way the hell out to 55 to get up there if I can avoid it.

It looks like Saturday is electric? Has anyone been showing up? If so, what classes are guys running?

Are LiPo's allowed?

What's the hot tire setup in Mod Truck? 4wd?

im looking to practice with my electric car on the onroad track soon, what day is practice for onroad electric? Is it going to be open in the next few weeks or is it closed(i hurd theres some events going on or something). What do i need to know before going, its my first time on a track....how busy is it usually? thanks

Thanks Cosmo. I am debating whether to go to Leisure Hours or Planet RC this weekend. Steve Trebing is in Indy and I could hang out with him and such if I went there. It just depends on turnout at this point, as I'm really looking at a 2 hour drive either way. I just know I want to run, really want to run 4wd Mod if possible, and I'd love to run LiPo too. We'll see.

I want to go to the track some time this week, but I don't know yet if it will be on Sunday for the races, or Saturday for open practice, or some other day for open practice.

I'll let you know when I figure it out.

It looks like Sat is the only practice day now. That's out for me. So I am tentativley planning for Sun race.

I'm a little confused by their web site now. The 'News and Information' section says that practice is only on Saturdays, yet they have updated the 'Weekly Racing Schedule' section as well, and it still shows Wednesday and Friday night on-road practice.

So I guess the place is closed every day of the week now except Saturday and Sunday?

Maybe they'll start their micro racing program back up soon. I'm hoping to participate in that this year every once in a while.

In any case, I'll try to get permission to race this Sunday.
