I've seen a couple guys with truggies and another mt once so why don't we all just bring them out next sunday at 10 and have a race?
Matt conviced me to hunt down a sct but I would still like to race mt too. It just sounds like a blast. 5 bohemoths running the track at once...how can that not be fun?
Who all actually has monster trucks?

Dylan, tell your brother to give you that SC10, I'll come by the shop and pick it up from you :P

I hate to say it but the monster truck class isn't going to take off again. I have one along with a few others. Once you drive anything 1/8 scale you'll be done with MT. Mine has just been sitting in my cabinet in the garage for 2 years now.
I need to get back into SCT...

[QUOTE=T-BirdJunkie;9522257]If you want a pimp SC10, I've got one for sale. John Gerard currently possesses it.
Is that the gold plated one I have laying around in my trailer?

I'm not killing the mood, the mood is dead!!! I started with a MT 3 years ago and it was completely dead after my first year.

If you get the castle electric conversion kit from castle that we talked about then pull the motor and esc out of your revo and used two 2s batteries in series, your buggy will be ready to go. You could always convert back. I can guarantee though you will like the feel of the buggy better than the Revo plus the extra durability.
Are you missing anything besides the motor and esc from your buggy?

Monster Trucks have their place....
my $.02 on Monster Trucks:
they are an absolute blast to bash with, take to construction sites, jump off ramps, etc.
they blow on the race track. tires are soft, suspension is soft, and CG is high.
sure, you can make them decent on the track, but if you are going to do all that work and conversion, just get a race specific truggy....
that being said, if enough people show up and there is enough interest, we should race them regardless....
