I'm still here too. Just picked up another 4x4 slash on here at a reasonable price. Will have to visit the shop sometime.

i visit every once in awhile. as much as i can. i'm real tired of the snow and the cold at this point and cant wait for summer to get here. ive been working on an rc8e build and have most of the parts needed to get me going. it looks we will have a class for them this year. i'm new at the 8th scale stuff and the buggy stuff so any advise would be greatly appreciated as i have no clue how to set it up. it seems like it is a totaly different beast than the slash 4x4 is. i cant wait to run it for the first time

Default THUMPTOWN RACEWAY/SINGERS HOBBIES

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I haven't been on for awhile. (No Excuse) Definately getting sick of this winter. Looking forward to summer and racing!!!

Quite a bit is happening for this year. We have been meeting on a regular basis and making plans or this coming racing season. It is looking like we will be running several more classes this year. We are in the process of coming up with a new layout for the track.

Another exciting change is we are moving the hobby shop out to the track!! So we will be on site and open. We are planning to be moved and open come the first of April!!

Well thats about it for now, I will try to get on here more and keep you guys up todate on everything.

Doug

Finally a day with no wind. I was able to get out and fly that plane. What a blast! With a little more practice, Definitely gonna have to upgrade to something a bit bigger that can handle a bit of wind!

it will be great to see you guys come down. i am not sure about the number of nitros in the group but i know quite a few of us have purchased 1/8th scale stuff so there should be no shortage of people to race with.

Not sure Santa brings gifts to boys who peek and know what they are getting, doesn't he bring coal to those who are on the naughty list?
