The plan is the warm up race will have a new layout, weather cooperating. In addtion, this will not be the Nats layout. Normally with two day events, 3 rounds on Saturday and 4th round and mains on Sunday.

I hate to cancel a race but I think with the incoming rain forecast for Saturday it's in everyone's best interest to cancel now instead of at noon on Saturday after everyone has spent gas money to get here. I hope you all understand. Our next to last race of the 2013 season is coming up in 2 weeks on Saturday Oct 5th. This club race will be your last chance to run on the track before the 5th Annual Halloween Race which takes place 4 weeks from now on Oct 18-19th.

The Track is usually open for electric cars at 7:30 if I recall from last season.

Hey Jason - Someone should update the LCRC site with a 2014 schedule...the 2013 schedule is what is on the site currently.

Any tire suggestions for LCRC? The only thing I have with any tread on it for my eBuggy currently is AKA Impacts so I need to get tires anyway.

Is the start time the same? Here is the info from last year's opening race:

Yea I saw that over lunch. Looks like the whole thing is pushed back an hour from last year. Still trying to decide if I can get it together for this weekend or not. If not to race then I will try to swing down to see a round of racing.

The track drains and runs off really well so the rain isn't an issue at this point.
