well, so far I'm the only brave soul who's actually built a car, Losi XXXs G+, chrome HPI vintage wheels with treaded tires, '70 Cuda body, running brushed 27T motor and 4 cells. wil be converting to 21.5 /lipo as soon as funds are available though. I'll take a pic or two and post them up here. I do have one friend who says he has one built, but don't know if he's actually ready and willing to make the trip...i'll put some pressure on him to see if i can get a commitment from him.

I am going to give 1/18th a try this winter. I will be running in a box stock 18R class. if that is compatible with the rules at Marshals we may take a trip or two this winter.

hey guys eric vaverchak here, i was thinking about open house this year, is bill allowing lipo batt and brushless yet and if he is what size battery or what size brushless. seem like all the other stuff is so old school i hope he has finally moved into the new millenium. nobody will even buy a comm lathe or a good speedo anymore on ebay. everyone has gone to lipo and brushless it seems. for the tire issue it seems like run what you want, rubber is slightly slower but i dont think there will be enough for two different classes. if lipo is allowed what will the total care weight be like 2.95 or something. later

brushless 17.5 is allowed in the stock class

lipo is 2 but you must have a lipo bag or similar container 2 charge it in

no limit on MIH as far as i know

weight is the same as posted last year no different weight for lipo so pile on the lead

As far as lipos there is no limit on mAh but the batt has to be ROAR approved and Bill will be following ROAR rules so I suggest you look at the 2008 ROAR rule book.
