Just got back to Austin an hour ago after a complete fiasco of a day... A few miles outside of Brenham it started raining pretty hard. About 15 mins later Im on the side of the road with a flat right front tire... One of the perks of driving a Mini Cooper is that there is no spare. About an hour later, Interstate towing is finally loading the car up. And another 2 hours later, I am finally home... $220 poorer.
I actually have 2 new tires sitting in the garage. I am attempting to the get one mounted up tonight at my buddies shop and make the trek back out tomorrow...

Results will be posted on the website soon. Im sure that Sharpie will copy paste them on to here as soon as they are available. Lets just say Xray dominated the TC classes :P
On another note, I want to thank all the guys that made their way to TexasEOS race 1. It was awesome seeing so many new faces enjoy traveling and racing outside of the norm. I know for a fact that the series will continue to grow just based off of how many of the guys enjoyed round 1.
Also want to thank all the guys that helped clear the track off after the monsoon; Trucker Bob (wasn't even racing at the time), Steve Breuer, Sam Hand, AWD, Ryan Gracey, Jeff (announcer dude), and the work horse/old guy Jim Wood. Jim stayed out on the track longer than anyone and I was super impressed. Thanks Jim! If I missed out on anyone that helped with drying the track, I apologize, its been a long day.

Guys! Thanks for coming out. I am starting to tally through the results and numbers. Race one had exactly 51 entries!
So we totally exceeded our expectations for the first race.
Thanks for all the support guys, it was definitely well worth the effort. I honestly can say that I had more fun seeing you guys smiling, laughing and enjoying this weekend, despite the little rain delay than even driving my own car.
I am already ready for Austin
In the meantime, I will try to get most of the updating done tonight on the site.
