What's the typical turnout for 2WD 17.5 vs Open? Raced at Thunder a couple of times back in 2014, but school and work got in the way; looking to get back into 2WD and was just wondering.

We don't have anybody run 17.5 at Club races only at the big races. Club racing we get 3 to 5 open sct. Our big classes are 2 and 4wd open buggy. Usually 10 to 20 of each

Sounds good. Looks like I'll stick with the motor I already have, then. Just asking to see if picking up a 17.5 to go along with the 10.5 I already have would have been worth it.

One other question that's been repeated once or twice, any club regulars have an extra transponder for sale?

probably better to ask on the thunder rc racers group on FB this doesn't get much traffic. I'll ask I know one just got sold recently so they are out there

no not every weekend about 3 a month take off for holidays and the like.
