Hey Beth,

Email me at [email protected] I have some extras in my stuff and I'll be glad to send you one if you want to cover the shipping. Would be much cheaper than trying to find a replacement.

Thanks

Would the 12.5 hi-torque rotor be any good for 13.5 blinky 1/12?

The rotors come in both 12.3 and 12.5 sizes

If you REALLY don't want the 12.5, I think I have a spare 12.3 that I'd trade.

Edit: Just saw you're in Canada.... not sure it'd be worth messing with shipping, but still up to you.

I measured one of my stock 12.3 broad powerband rotors at almost 12.43mm before....

If the ring is purple, odds are it is the correct rotor.

Just ordered a Revtech 5.5 to run in Open TC this summer, I've been really happy so far with the 17.5 that I am running in the 17.5 blinky class. it's got lots of rip and a great feel.

I have just salvaged a black rotor with a purple top from a mate's D2 21.5 motor. I have never seen a rotor like this as I race in a 13.5 class. Can anyone please tell me the specs on this type of rotor? Cheers.

I know rollout questions have been asked a million times, so I apologize in advance.

I am looking for a rollout starting point for WGT, 13.5 non-timing.

We are racing on a normal size carpet track, medium bite, etc. I did a fair amount of rollout/timing testing for 17.5 non-timing 12th at our track... And I found that the Revtech like 3-4 hash marks of timing, rolled out @ 95-98mm.

Does anyone have a similar range for the 13.5 in WGT? I was thinking of starting @ 3 hash marks, rolling out @ 82mm...

That means it should work alright in a D3 13.5? Thats where I've planted it for now, just haven't tested it..

I have been looking for the same thing James. I have found a few things that say between 75mm and 85mm. I ran my crc last week at mikes with a 74mm 88/35 gearing and the motor never got over 110. Do I think we should be good with that 75-85 range. But AWD would be a great person to ask.

Yes! I personally have 3 of them, and have used them in 17.5, 13.5, and 21.5 D3 stators, AND 17.5/21.5 ReVtech stators.

Hi guys, here is a pic of my GT car:

and here is a pic of where I race it:

We can run our GT cars as a 1c/10.5 or a 2c/17.5 (with a heavier weight limit) here in the UK. I would like to ask your opinions and advice on motor advance (via the endbell) and gearing please. We are allowed TOTF speedo's (I currently run Tekin's). Are there more than one rotor for the Revtech motors?? My understand is that a regualr rotor is good for blinky racing whilst the smaller rotor is good for TOFT racing.

Sorry is these have been asked before, but we have the last winter series meeting coming up soon at Ardent (the track in the pic) and the want to do as well as possible as the first GT10 national is at the same venue a couple of weeks afterwards.

Thanks for any help in advance,

Chris.

At our medium size, medium bite track most of us wound up between 70mm and 75mm. Temps from under 100' to about 135' Different brands seemed to want different timing. I ran a D1, max advance (maybe 20'?) at 73mm and was only a fraction off the pace of our fastest drivers. Best run was by a SP V3 1 cell, 20' ring about 3/4s at 72mm

What's the difference between the black rotor and the silver. All of mine come with silver, but i have bought some tuning rotors and they are black. Is it to signify that they are not spec rotors?
