Can BMI make a carbon fiber shock tower for the ETC3? Also how bout a nice battery brace to match the chassis that I just got? My stock black one ruins the whole look. I may have to get anything carbon fiber from you all I can. Thx

BMI doesnt have shock towers for that car but they do have a battery strap. Its not on the site just ask through the website and hell give you a price on it.

OK thanks. Do you know why they cant make the shocktower? Or is it just by the design of how it is on the TC3?

Hey Waterblast.....It's not that BMI can't make carbon fiber shocktowers for the tc3......It was just decided that since the bottom piece would most likely be aluminum, and the additional weight (also rasing the cars center of gravity) was a step in the wrong direction.... if your more into looks, and you have to have them, there's a few differen't companys that make them........I can't remember who , but if you do a search Im sure you'll find 'em

What will I need to convert my L3 into a BMI L4? Whats included in the BMI L4 kit?

SA the conversion will come with the bottom chassis, both top and bottom pod and lowered pod plates. The body mounting piece thats also the t-bar brace. And all the standoffs. Theres talk that it will come with the top pod plate for the friction discs as well as one for the side dampner tubes. So basicly you need a complete frontend,antenna mount and servo mount, Tbar and Pivots an axle assembly, and either the friction disc parts or side dampner tubes. If you want your L3 to be a L4 all you need is the updated front end.

Heres a pic of the prototype Wayne ran at the classic. Notice the anodized parts in the pic not on the car yet. Im sure final pics will be released next week when its finished.

Main chassis
Lowered pod plates
Lower graphite plate for pod
2 top plates for pod (disks and tubes)
Main chassis brace
Stand offs
Antenna mount
Some steel hardware
New style dampening post for disks
New dampening springs for disks

if you want carbon fiber shock towers, here they are http://www.asiatees.com/display.php?...el=TC3&pid=1#, they come with blue aluminum bases and are $13 each, also hardcore makes titanium shock towers for the tc3

also how much is the carbon battery strap for the tc3, that thing sure as hell looks better then the original one
