Hi guys - Have a great weekend. I'll be attending a wedding this weekend in upstate NY so no racing for me this weekend (except against my brother with our Mini-T's) Hmm, Maybe I can convience Dan to start zapping 2/3's AA cells to make mini-T packs?
Next weekend I'll be practicing for Race #4 Trinity ORL race and the race is Sunday 8/8. Should be a blast since this one is at my local track. Lots of fast guys from PA, NJ, DE, NY and MaryLand attend these races.
Good luck to all the loyal supporters out there these next few weeks. Bring home the trophies and outpunch your competition!

Don't I wish, I actually asked Dan about zapping 2/3 A cells, but at the time he didn't think it'd be financially viable(I wanted to see what their process could do for my M18). And now that GP has their own 2/3 A cells(which I've been hearing some good thigns about), it gets me even MORE curious.....

you are able to set the discharge rate on each cell, and it also keeps the batteries from going into a deep cycle, like the real time 2 and the indy does.....and its got the blingin purple and it says novak so why wouldnt you buy it lol

so if i took a dump in a box spray painted it candy red and put a novak sticker on it u would buy it lol just messin with ya, i am gettin a smart tray on on sunday so i hope it increaes run time

We are not planning on going to the 35 amp discharge process because of various reasons posted on the previous pages. The yield is no different than a 30 amp process. I see that the cell takes a hard enough toll at 30 amps for a full 5000 runout. The numbers at 35 amps will be lower than a 30 amp cell. That will be the only difference.

I would like to know, which cells of yours which got the lowest IR? I'll use them for stock racing
So if it's the ones with lowest voltage, I might as well get a Power Cube, when it's in stock again.
If it's the ones with highest voltage, which values are the IR in the Power Cube and how are the IR with the high voltage cells?

You will find that with the higher voltage cells, there comes a lower IR and higher runtime most of the times. The IR is usually 12-13 for the best high voltage packs. In the lower packs it goes to 14-15 usually, and a couple of 16's. The powercubes may all be 15-16. Get the higher voltage packs for the lower IR.

Compare a pack with 6 x 16 mOhm = 96 mOhm with a pack of 6 x 12 mOhm = 72 mOhm. That's 24 mOhm in difference. At 20 amps that's similar to a voltage drop of 0,48 volt....

Man I thought that 14/15 with 1.180v was the best, but to know
that there is 13/12 IR that is good to know.
