I was thinking it but was not going to say anything!

So what is everyone doing on the 4th? I am going to Irwindale with the family to see some roundy round and some fireworks. I hope to get to some track next weekend as well! Got a busy July ahead of me for racing! I can hardly wait!

Yeah, I have to get some track time in too.

Irwindale has been advertising a big Fireworks show after the races. Should be fun.

Building a track all day on the fourth
work party style, so it shouldn't be too bad.

Good luck with that dave. Go big. This is a "G" track. Non of this woosy stuff. I want to see the 40ft gap!

Glad to hear of the progress down there even if it is for "G" racing!

Nice layout. Starting grid to the right like that will not work for "G" racing though. The pit guys will be in the way of the start. Just a heads up. Some things that are sometimes over looked when designing a "G" track. Also be cautious of a section where someone can be stupid and hurt people in the pit area. (avoid big jumps and things of that nature near the pit lane.) Just friendly words of advice!

starting grid will most likely be on the straight, with the loop at the end of the straight.

Looks too technical for those big dumb gas cars.

Not much of a straight for the gas cars to get going. Also, the looks like there would be a jump into or out of pit lane, which wouldn't work out too well.

The layout is good. It is just fixing the jumps. Dave knows what he is doing. I am sure it will turnout great!
