I racing in Victoria, British Columbia. They have a very nice R/C club here and they build a very beautiful temporary indoor track weekly. The guys here are very fast and consistant. I am like 0.5 per lap slower than the fastest guy in the club 
No. 3 to No. 8 in qualifying were seperated by 2secs under 8 mins of racing.
Haha... I just finished a night of racing. 6th place.

anyway dun see a risk... been there dun tat(remember the gd old times)
i believe if we run the 1/12 there traction should be better than at bk
but no power supply is a turn off thou we see how it goes when u come back
