anyone have this problem?
When you remove the sway bar its fine? And then you put it on and its bad? Maybe the bar has gotten damaged by a hit?

Have you adjusted the cams on the sway bar holder ?
also check if sway bars themselves are straight and not bent.

Fellow G4S'ers, those of you who are shopping for, or who like myself just like to look at new engines, I have posted some pics of the internals of the new Ninja 12 in the nitro engine area. Ninja thread

For those who don't feel like wandering off.....

Well Frank with problems, who would of guessed !!!

However the suggestions given are very good ones and need to be checked. If the 4mm chassis is not tweaked, then it has nothing to do with the prblem. Your suspension system works around the chassis. So hinge pins, a tweaked chassi, sway bars locking up, of even the a arm itseld locking up. You have to watch the meat on the sway bar over the chassis. Make sure those A arms, without the shocks attached, when raised up fall completely down and quickly. The A arms must be completely free. A bent hinge pin is quite common or as mentioned sway bars.

Good Luck Frankie

Hello Guys, Goodmorning in Adelaide,

I am stuffed, my eyes sting and i have had 2 very late nights working on the car!!!

I think i know what the problem might be as my pretty dreams i had on the car would be what most have talked about, THE sway bar area and possible thoise HINGE pins!!!

When i put the hinge pins in i do recall they where a little tight and felt that bit of tightness will effect the suspension travel!!!

I have this problem a little inthe left rear arm where it doesnt full return travel on the upward as for the droop to work.

Anyways, back to the front of the right hand, the arms are all G4S, thanks to Sam from Raceday Hobbies, lucky i got a few new parts and sure to get some more for future!!!

As for gansei, i have noticed you have Alloy spacers on your sway bars? How did you souce this, and does it help in anyway?

As for the Mugen Pivot ball ends for Steering and Shock, i cant see this being the problem,

I think its gotta be the sway bar, as they might have that slight tweak inthem to make this problem!

I like my shocks laid down and would only go up 1 extra hole to suit the track i run on!!!

Ill attack it in another 8 hours after work, till then ill see if we as a community can share more ideas!!!

Best Regards
Frankie

-> i cut 2mm sus arm to reduce wheelBase.
so i replace 2mm shim by cutting area.
it help more quick in corner turn.

Thank you Gansei, i still have to work out my suspension tonight, still got a bit of a binding problem on the front right!!!

I hope to fix problem so its return full arm downwards with no binding!!!

Also i shall grind the sway bar a little to shorten as i have no more room to extend the length!!!

just a few things to consider tonight, but ill be going to another friends house to get a 2nd opinion!!

thanks for your help, i always take note of what you do

Default swaybar stability?

swaybar can be bended by strong crash.

you can unbend the bended swaybar

But if you unbend the bended swaybar and used it,

it will be bended again more easily.

so if you think that front droop setting is very easily changed,

pls change new swaybar.
