To filter out specific content without blocking the advertiser as a whole, I doubt it.

At times there are pop-ups and various banner ads that affect the function of the site or are just plain annoying. Those are obviously deleted since they affect the entire community of the site.

I'm not sure the tech department is going to, or needs to, get involved with ads that only you see, are target based, and are a result of your internet history.

Yeah. My internet history isn't nearly that exciting. I'm usually here, Gawker, Jalopnik, YouTube, or shopping for RC parts and electronic junk. Oh well.
