Just wondering if I pay for a elite membership if it will eliminate the non rc adds that are on the side of the screen?

Oh well. That would of been another reason to join if it would of eliminated some adds.

Many other forums do remove the ads if you are a paying member. But many other forums are run by people trying to build a community.

This site has more ads than any other site I'm on(I'm on a dozen or so)...by FAR!! Also the most complaints about them! It's a good site..don't get me wrong but over use of ads can AND will kill sites! Waiting for pages(ads)to load, malware carried by ads, page(browser)freezing caused by ads etc all become a pain to site users and they go somewhere else. There are ways around it but, again, this the ONLY site I'm a member of that I have been asked not to post that info on the forum itself. 7 ads on this page alone(I don't see any of them!)

7? haha 12 for me. 22 on the front page. I was threatened about mentioning ways around it. It's ridiculous. But IB doesn't care. They own this site for the money they can generate from ad's. If they run this site into the ground in the mean time it doesn't matter to them. They will just go buy another and milk it for what it's worth.

I make sure I don't click any of their ads for any reason.
