did you take out the center diff? if so make sure it went back in correctly.

I read about that on ebay. I saw a roller of this truck and the seller mentioned that issue so he bought the upgrade cvd center driveshaft sets.

I ordered them so I would have them.

Did you pull the diff or driveshafts at some point? I believe there is a little rubber doughnut in the cups. If that is gone there is probably too much play in there and they will fall out.

OK thanks guys yeah I took it apart cause it was easier to change the pinion I'm guessing I need to order them gaskets I called tower and they are sending me a new drive shaft buy now u mention it in between its the gasket ty

Anyone know what the extra pieces they send with them are? The ones labeled 2.0, 2.5, 3.0,with some arrows on them.

OK so happy to announce the cutback with the optinal spur and 17t pinion is night and day from stock. I lost the o ring for the center rear driveshaft so i cut some nitro line to use as the o ring I left no play in the driveshaft I installed 17t pinion and optinal spur it gained at least 10 MPh it doesn't nose dive anymore and I can control the flight wthe throttle I did nothing to the suspension. Nose dive issue fixed

Yeah I know we just have 2s and 4s packs but 32 is a lot faster still than the stock spur and pinion plus the nose dive issue is fixed. Have the optimal spur and 17 pinion solved anyone else's issue ? Cause it may have been all the play in the rear center drive shaft I took out

I remember when I had my slash 4x4 ultimate edition, the center driveshaft had way to much play in it. Drove me crazy.

I didn't even try it on the original gearing but between 40 wt in the shocks and the 54/17 I don't nose dive if i stay on the gas when jumping.

All u have to do is cut a piece of nitro line it fits right in there to take the play out and I hold the gas I land on the back end it acts like a normal sct in the air now by controlling the landing with the throttle/brakes
