I ordered a set of stock wheels and ordered some JConcepts Pressure Points tires.

what is the offset of stock losi wheels? I ask because I saw the banditos in the post above.

I'm betting that if you adjust the throttle sensitivity (which I'm betting is punch or current limit) up from 2 to 3 or 4, it will probably help with the acceleration issues.

As far as the nose diving off of jumps, I went through that on my SCT410 over the summer. It was a jump that I didn't need to make with my short bus, since no one else was even trying it...but the 1/8 buggies were doing it without issue, so I felt the need to try...

It was a matter of the rear chassis slapping at the end of the approach from being too soft. I wound up changing to a spring two steps stiffer and changing how I hit that jump. I would try some stiffer springs, oil, or maybe set the ride height a bit higher in the rear.

I remember downloading that manual along with the the others for this truck while waiting for mine to arrive.

The actual manaul you get in the box is kinda.. well not very detailed.

Anyone else have gearing input? I've got a 17t on the way.
I put a 17 t pinion in mine haven't got to test it out yet but I done a lot of research and seems 17 is the way to go

Have you tried making any adjustments to the esc?

@java230..

No, I haven't. I am not running the stock esc. Mine fried the night i got my truck seconds after plugging a lipo in.

I am running a TSky 120amp esc in mine.

I have two of these esc's. They come with a deans type connector but you need to solder the bullets for the esc to motor wires.

Mount them up let's see how they look. The Losi wheel has a real deep offset.

Nice to see some action here.

15/54 here on 2s.

Running proline trenchers they came pre-mounted. The hex is "deep" so I had to add a washer.

Stock shocks suck... I have broken a few and the caps always seems to pop off/come unscrewed. I would love to hear some feedback on upgraded shocks.

I have had mine for a year. Great fun around the yard!

Happy Cutbacking,
Ross

@edgeverse

Ah cool, have you noticed any improvement in being able to keep the wheel speed up in the air, to help with nose diving, with the other esc?

I agree, Ross. Nice to see this thread alive and kicking.
I'll post pics with other tires/wheels and show how they fit. Also, I ordered a set of Losi scte shocks and once I mount them, I'll post an update. In the meantime, I am running the stock shocks with the stock oil in them. I didn't mess with the shock oil or diff oil as of yet. It is a great truck.

Anyone know of a body that may fit the cutback? The stock one is already cracking.

I'm sure most Proline sct bodies as well as JConcepts bodies will fit it.
