This is not exactly precise but usually .....

Friday is free practice .... all day.
Saturday usually has 3, 4 or so hours of practice then Qualifiers
Sunday qualifiers and mains....

Last year was a great time.

Byron dates

June 27-29 2014 asked Scott (the man)@ Leisurehours an Thursday is open for practices usually 5pm til 10pm with offroad playing on the track too. Friday is onroad only for Byron race can't wait to run some GT

Anybody have a recommended hotel for this race? Is it closer to O'hare or Midway airport?

Closer to midway, but theres hotels alot closer than midway. Someone else will chime in im sure.

We usually stay here.

I just did a little checking and that hotel is booked along with many others in the area but there are a few with availability. In years past there has been a big paint ball tournament right across the street from the track the same weekend.

There is a couple by the I 55 &rt 30 like super 8 best western. Or red roof inn on Larkin & I80. To start with

I55- Rt30 is definitely the best choice for hotel with mall/restaurant/gas station around the block. The track is really in the "middle of no where" area that there are no hotel or even restaurant NEAR the track...it need to drive for 5-10 minutes to get to something.

I55-RT30 area is about 15 minutes drive from the track....
