Default Vegas Grand Prix

I just want to take the time to congratulate all the Serpent guys on a good showing in Vegas. Chris' car looked good in the main.He also took the time to help everyone at the race with a Serpent car. I think he was in pit lane more than in the pits. As for me my car, it was really good. As a sportsman driver, its the best I have ever done in Vegas.

Steve Jackson had a good car all weekend. He placed his 960 in the B and finished in 3rd. He did a good job for his first race with the car.

Chris, congratulations on your podium finish at Las Vegas with your 960!!!!!! I hear your chassis was really good. You seem to be getting real comfortable with the car, engine and tire package. Was there anything unusual that you needed to change as far as set-up goes? Wow, I even heard you were walking around the pits trying to help anyone with yellow wheels. You are the man!!!!!!! Thanks for all the help and advice you have been giving everyone.

Garen you did very well also!! Too bad you got bit by the Qualifying Points myth.

Thanks Doug.

The car worked very well.I am getting very comfortable with the car. In qualifying I ran the car the same way as I ran it here at Crystal Park with a small caster adjustment. For the main I changed the lower rear roll center just in case the wind and dust became a problem.

As far as helping everyone, I tried to get to everyone that needed help. My car was good enough so it allowed me to help people with their 960's and even with my cousin's 710's. I was lucky to have Bryon and Ryan there to help with cutting tires. My cousins Jeremy and Jeremy (the painter) took care of cleaning the car. Thanks guys. Overall everyone seemed to be happy with the way their 960's were working. It was just a matter of helping them with small adjustments.

I rather have my transponder mounted as far as possible on the frontside of the car, just in case of a "photo finish".....
