Hello, i have 3.0 converted and have the same issue with the body. Has anyone tried TLR340002, or it would be too narrow?

The ep specific bodies are to narrow for a converted nitro, you will need one these bodies......mugen mbx7 eco Jconcepts body.....or FTW TLR 2.0e Exabyte body......or any body that was made for a 2.0e , I like the mugen one as it is a nice fit once trimmed rite to fit and has an aggressive forward cab aerodynamics look( it looks like it means business on the track haha) and have used the FTW before but is a little on the thin side.
Hope that helps...

Cheers Aaron

FTW seems like the best solution as it provides maximum space, but isn't available to any of the sites i 've checked. I am close to buy LOSA8097 Losi 8IGHT-E Body, which i think is similar to JConsepts Illusion. Anyone knows which is better or thicker?
Thanks again.

PS. If anyone knows where can i buy FTW EXABYTE, please link.

You need the pins TLR244027 and the outer bearing LOSA6942.

So the spacers come with the pins? Or hub?

Spacers come with the spindle. For the axle height adjustment.
They also come with the carrier.

Default Forward Battery Mod....great, but loose rear.

Hi,
With the battery forward Mod, the car behaiour is great in handling the turns...really like it.

But....(there is always a "but"..) Did someone found a way to reduce the rear train from sweeping right to left to right..etc....when exiting a turn, on Power?
Was thinking to tune my Diff (actual : 5- 7 - 3) ...

Any thoughts or advice is welcome!!
thx

Try lowering the center to 5k and see how it feels on exit.

Thanks...will try this week end..
beside that, someone also told me to I could increase Rear diff to 5K (will limit the left-right-left wheel unloading...)...will experiment it too.

Yea, I would say if you like the way the front end is reacting but not the rear try to increase the oil weight in the rear first.

Does anyone sell a battery tray that fits in the front of the losi 3.0 chassis without needing to be cut or trimmed? Does the 4.0 battery tray fit nicely up front? I have my 3.0 tray up front now but I had to trim and cut around the fly wheel etc and it's made the tray thinner and weaker.

Hi all,

what is a good tire to try when racing on:

a)soft clay when dry
b) soft clay when wet (muddy)?

thanks,

Few weeks ago, I destroyed my original battery tray, during a gigantic crash...and was forced to buy a new one.
So I re-used it, for this Mod....this way I still can revert everything back.
(never saw a tray that will fit, without trim/cut....even the 4.0 tray will not I guess, as the 4.0 chassis is wider than the 3.0 one..
