Sounds like the spool would be a good idea, ive used a tighter set diff with fairly good sucess, just dont overtighten it or you could snap an outdrive.

Im in the uk, so im not really sure about places in the usa

I use rc mart sometimes and I hear precision rc is good too if your looking for an online shop instead
do i tighten up the front and rear diffs the same amount? the rear diff is usually a little looser than the front too, right?

I used to tighten the front one up a little more than the front (to get a small spool effect which I needed but didnt have a spool) but if you need a spool it is best to get one and get the full benefit of it, rather than ruin a diff by letting it deliberately go gritty and possibly snap an outdrive in the process...

Normally, they are run at the same tightness for a more neutral feeling, although it is better to do this, you can make them a different tightness to get more front or rear bias.

so if i tighten up the front, i should get a more on-power steering effect (similar to spool) and if i loosen the rear, it should allow the car to pivot better? basically, when you tighten a diff, you enhance the forward bite and acceleration but if you loosen it, you allow the car to pivot around a corner better. is this logic correct?

MS conversion kit (speculation) will probably not happen since you'll need aluminum bulkheads, a new center bulkhead, new belts, shock towers, etc. Might as well buy a new car once you add up the cost of all the individual parts.

IFS hopefully happens

has anybody seen the effects of the IFS suspension? doesn't look like it would do a lot of good to me, besides lowering your COG a little.

I haven't got a chance to fully open it up or get the gearing perfect yet but I have clocked it at 57MPH with my Bushnell gun

I cleaned it up, I rushed it to test it. I would liek to make motor wires shorter but I use the esc in my buggy so I need the long wires.
