The trouble with comments like that is you're always going to hurt a few people's feelings especially people who have decided to buy the car and then what you end up with is words put in your mouth like you're looking for a CF chassis in a R version car.
Just kidding.
Anyway, I'm sure it's still going to be a good deal for what they did get right in the car. It's still a cheaper way to start building the dream 05 than buying loose parts bags, is what I'm saying.

(hopefully not often since thats the reason Im switching to this car).
I decided to go for a graphite 3 racing chassis and shock mounts to put the car on a diet

Alrighty, has anyone used any of the 3racing or Yeah Racing aluminum components such as the aluminum bulkheads? I'm sure they are heavier but since I'm racing LiPo anyway, weight isn't an issue...since I already have to add lead weights to be legal anyway. I just want to make sure that the fit and everything is good. I wouldn't want to buy some pretty bling for the car only to find out that it throws the diff out of alignment or something.

I don't think Marc R. runs what Tamiya says. I know he likes his 415MS better than his car and that is a couple of years old now. Look at the pics from the DHI and you will see the MS chassis he ran. I love my 05 and my 415MSX but I believe the 415 is better for higher competion. Just my 2 cents.

I know when I was looking to figure out the block thing, fellow board member Core Creation kept telling me that it was on Page 6 of the manual, but I wasn't seeing anything.
It wasn't until we were at the track together with our manuals side by side that we realized that for some reason, even though we got our cars at the same time, his manual had the block info on that page, but mine didn't!

Hi, I got TRF415MS and I was wondering how much of this car is compatible with the TA05. I was thinking about buying a TA05 kit to build (been Bored lately) and thought maybe I could reuse some of the parts and spare parts that iI got now. If it's not much, then I will can that idea.
