the piece I really want is the onepiece input shaft and bevel gear.
I´m using this mod on an EVO III since about one year and it´s really very easy to do. Motor removal is so much easier and faster.

yeah i haven't either but as V12 said it will be much easier.

i was talking to a friend today and we were discussing whether you think that IF the motor screws come loose could it be a possibility for the motor to fall out.

That Motor mount Modification is OK for Stock, Really bad for the Eyes and probably Flexes like Hell in Modified. I don't have any Problems getting my Motor Screws out with a Straight 2.5 Just have skills I guess?

Does your motor come loose now??? Open ends on the motor mount won't make a difference at all if you screw it in right!

I know who your talking about murfy, he is full of crap!

Here's a pic of my motor mount. It makes changing motors so much easier, especially if you are running two or more classes. BTW, never had a motor come loose.

I have been using the 05 spec motor for some time now and I have not experienced any “flex” problems. If anything, you have less flex because it is thicker.

I don't know about you guys, but I have to install my pinion just about touching the motor housing to line up with the spur. Those spacers mean the pinion is further out on the motor shaft...

It also helps better balance the car.

So you think the car is a little heavy in the rear, or it just takes mass out of it so it'll rotate a little better? Just checking to see if it's worth trying...

I use the Speedmind heatsing plate instead of spacers.
and better support.

I just have better mesh between the spur and pinion.
