I kept mine between 24-26deg of throw. No the car cannot do 40 deg. Don't even think the car can get 30 at full lock

What pinion can I use for the stock gearing? I have a 8.5T. Just drifting/running around the street.

On the stock spur I'm running a 21t pinion with an 8.5T motor.

If u using the black pastic shaft holder, shim 0.3mm on the shaft, then shim both sides of the spur, make sure even shimming on both sides.
I have no rub the spur pulley if shim properly.

Or just buy the new optional white shaft holder, it fits well.

Whew! I just spent a couple hours last night and this morning reading this entire thread start to finish... 974 posts, that's a lot of work. I kept a running tab of all of the option parts mentioned that I might want to buy for my S1. Amazingly, very few are required.

But I want to be clear on one thing as I'm about to make my initial order...

If I buy the "Spur Gear Shaft Bushing Long", I won't need the "flanged 5x8x2.5 bearings" correct? Or do I need both?
