What is the normal rule for deciding to run stock chassis versus aluminum chassis for carpet for stock motors. I see Martin Hofer was running both depending on carpet tracks.
Is it that the carpet could not be super high bite and he might have wanted more flex in the chassis?

Does the Xray T4 front belts work with the BD7 2015? I know the rear belts fit.

Best to just stick with the stock c-hubs....

The front Yokomo ECS are giving me problems. I broke three in a week, one during training and both left and right ecs during racing (i.e. one was new). Car is free and breakages are not due to impact, just normal use. Any suggestions please.

Had the same problem this past Sunday, broke 2 yokomo DCJ's in back to back qualifiers without impact. I promptly swapped them out for Tamiya 44mm DCJ's. Requires a little shaving of the steering block and front upright so that the driveshafts don't make contact under full suspension travel or steering lock.

So, are people literally breaking the DCJ's or installing them incorrectly? The spring clip on the joint is only made to spin where force is applied downward on the clip when rotating forward. I mistakenly overlooked this on my last tc and had a few problems like that.
