Has anyone been able to fit the SDW front arms on the BD. I believe this setup will give the BD better steering. Please let me know.
Also, has anyone seen Billy Easton's car from the Reedy race. I was interested to know what the setup was or if he had any changes to the car.

Hi,
yes, I fitted them and tested it on carpet. Unfortunately I broke one and stopped testing. I thought that steering was a lot more agressive and the car felt better.
Cheers

Can you tell me how you did that because I believe the rear block(front end) will hit the belt. I am very interested.

CML Distribution in the UK have a 'Grainger Edition' BD kit that comes with the SDW front arms standard - its a well known trick and works well from the reports i've heard
The arms should just slide on in place of the BD arms, using the BD blocks.

Hi,
I still used the same suspension blocks as with the standard A-Arms but dremeled away some material at the inside of the SDW A-Arm.
Cheers

He had new alum shock tower mounts that had four different positions to mount the inner camber link - very nice. Then there were some new hinge pin mounts that also looked nice. Not to mention the other refinements.

Did you do anything the get the front track(like wheel spacers) width back to normal or did you just leave it along so the front track was narrower?
thanks

Hi,
I tried both. But especially on carpet I liked the narrower front more because I got more steering.

Hi,
@Zacharopoulos: Where do you see different pulleys?
@mwoods: I think they are the same spring rate as the old Yokomo ones. Just longer.
