is the rear diff outdrive usually notched like on the picture? *bought a cyclone surikarn edition but hasn't arrived yet...

yes, the little notch is there so you can put these little aluminum rings arond them and it stops the axle from coming out of the drive cup by blocking the pins

no, the outdrive on flange where the diff ring sits..
