So it was the chassis for sure?, was it one of the cars from the pre-order?, cause I know the one I got always seems to have a tweak I can't quite track down, just started using my the second one I bought, and I don't think it has the same tweak issue, or it seems better.
New chassis. Car is much better on track...
I'll be heading to the Tamworth Cup, should be a good weekend.. Come and represent your state! AND bring a 12th scale, we are running 10.5 blinky 12th and its fantastic

Rear gear diff
Will the EX diff fit in the photon? I'm asking because I'm using the spec-r gear diff and I rebuilt it Saturday night to race Sunday and after my first run the oil was all over the chassis, so I took it out and it was EMPTY!!! Just the oil that wasn't wiped off the gears was left.. I knew it leaked but that's a little crazy

yes - the EX gear diff will fit.
i'd recommend that you use a VERY little amount of CA glue on diff housing to make sure the oring is stuck to the plastic. after doing that i hardly have any leaks. i put a little glue on the plastic parts, and then place the oring into its proper location. i let everything dry, and then re-assemble.
