Default considering buying a losi 8ight truggy

Im just curious on the value of it.

The car is a 1.0 and it has many upgrades. With the age of the car though, i was curious if there was still some value to it. The car is mint and very clean.

This is what it has done to it

2x 9100t jr servos over $100 each
lrp .28 spec 3 race motor with carb inserts
Aluminum shock towers
factory motor included in deal
3 sets of nearly new tires
many many exra parts
shock oils and parts for tuning shocks

no radio or rx and no batteries.
no starter box

The guy is asking $400 for everything which sounds like a steal, but with it being a 1.0, im a little nervous.

ok, i got the point that i shouldnt get it... lol

What would be a good price for just the car to snag up... He wanted 300 just for the car with the electronics and the .28 motor.

I was thinking on making him an offer for 250. Would anyone consider that a descent deal, or isnt that worth it?

Shop around. You can find a 2.0 roller for under 400 bucks. You can buy a new HB D8 truggy under 400 bucks for that matter.....
