Default 12L with T-Plate, how can I run a 1C lipo?

I have a newer generation 12L that I was interested in racing again. Now everyone has gone lipo! So how the heck do I mount a 1C lipo in my 12l Tplate chassis and have a competitive setup? some ideas would be great, thankyou

Battery on one side of chassis and electronics on the other. A few people were running the Associated t-bar cars like that at my track.

Do a body clip swap, remove the body clips and slide them into the posts of a new kit

Just kidding, but you might be a little out of luck, I think that the guys who made 1S saddle packs decided to stop. There may be some lurking around on the 'net but they are probably pretty rare these days. I know some people manage to run their batteries on one side and electronics on the other and come into balance with lots of extra weight.

Battery on one side and electronics on the other will work. With today's 1s packs you will have to add more weight to the electronics side than is ideal but it will work fine. That will get you back into it, then you'll probably want a new car
