The CF wears over time and some have...
Snapped it! Mine is starting to show wear due to myu bad driving... Some are trying the Alum/Steel version. This should not wear as easy...
If you run the CF version, use a cone washer under the center screw - from the center chasiss brace... This adds more protection.

There is a guy on the www.truggyracers.com forum who makes a nice thick machined aluminum front brace that will fit the CR buggy. The only problem with the CF one is that after a few hard nose first crashes it can start to crack, which aluminum wont do. The OFNA aluminum isnt very good aluminum material though, but I think mabye getting an aluminum brace and stacking the CF brace on top of it would be the ultimate setup. Of course with the buggy this isnt that much of a problem, with the CRT truck it is a much bigger problem.

Very very very nice. I am jealous, mine won't be here till tomorrow.
What starter box does everyone reccommend for this buggy.
Thanks,

I disagree dual motor boxes have always had enough power for any motor I've had. Of course I always from 12V gell cell batts, mabye with dual stick packs you'd have trouble. I've got one of the big ofna blue/chrome boxes and it so huge and heavy, I hate that thing. My old ofna pink box rocks! Enough power and its super compact.

I use the Mugen box and I've never had a belt slip, it has heaps of grunt, even with 2 x 6 cell packs. It is 1 1/2 years old now and is still going strong.
