Thanks Eddie O, Flamout, Stlnst myspace of course.

You know him better then I do, always busy. There's at least 50 or so Yok guys that we keep in touch with and all are looking for a U.S. car set up. Japan isn't close, and the UK guys run on carpet!?!?!

Thanks again.

the Co27 (blue can) is probly the fastest as of right now, i usually run the f-brush as i get the best on track results with them...

if you are gonna give 19 turn a try i would go with the KD 19t...

Does Team Brood change out springs and brushes? If not, how are the motors tuned to the specific applications?

we get motors raw and tune to what you are running....

usually the brushes are 4499's and springs depend on class

My new set of tire truing sticks is AWESOME! These should be standard issue for any racer serious about foam tires. Thank you so much, no more burning my damn fingers using sand paper and other hacks.

Yeah those things are awesome. You should never really have to replace them either, so they save you money in the end. Plus being ultra thin they are easily packed up, the whole set of 3 takes up less room than my set of files and sanding block did.

If you don't know what he's talking about, check this out ..

Is it better to have a motor draw higher or lower amps?

Eddie... not sure if you know this but the links in your signature do not take you to your site.

hi i have Ti 9x2 (standup brushes) that i bought off you last year.

i have always been having problems with it.

it would last about 2 minutes then die. i look at the comm and its all badly scorched.

i have tried many gearing possibilities. and have left the timing as i received it between the 1st and 2nd marking.

would it be possible to have the timing turned 180deg? i'm at a loss as to why its not running right.

The motor would run backwards if it were timed 180 degrees off.

Maybe you took a hit, and the arm is out of balance, or the brush hoods got knocked out of alignment.

Check the alignemt of the brush hoods, and replace the springs. So that way you know you have the proper spring tension. Too tight or too loose can cause those kinds of problems.

Wes:
I'm going to mail those to you in the next couple days, but they are done.

The Checkpoint 19T is a very good motor but performance wise, the KD19 is probably the fastest on road motor available right now for 19T.
