I have a Pro12 somewhere in my garage. It has the black molded battery straps but mine doesn't have the aluminum axle tube like the one in the pic above. Was that an optional part or was it aftermarket?

Are you sure you have a TRC Pro12? The Pro12 has the tube from factory Iīm not sure if itīs possible mounting the rear axle without the tube. At least you would need larger bearings. Please post a picture or send me a PM.

For sure its the same chassis with the same gold shock, the beam front suspension and the spring loaded T-plate in the middle. I just don't recall seeing it with a diff tube. I'll check tonight and maybe take a pic.

The car pictured above is 99% true TRC Pro 12, the only thing missing are the nylon battery straps. Some people removed the rear axle tube and replaced it with eccentric bearing holders, but the tube was the box stock part.

Default TRC Pro 12

Okay here's a pic of mine. Looks like it has the alum. tube for the axle.

For some reason I'm missing the battery straps which are probably sitting in some junk box in my garage. Looks like this is another restoration project to go on the list.

Chassis has a few extra holes in it. At one point I'd say somebody tried the bolt in blocks to hold the cells in, and there are extra holes on the sides, likely a nerf wing attempt.

Polish it up and put some tires on it!

I like both of these cars but you will never find that many spares for them as they just were not exported that much.
You would have to use Yahoo Actuions Japan to find anything useful. That ends up costing a lot more than you might think.
Its best to buy them very cheap and just clean what you have.
If you get them post some pictures.
This is the Cosmic I got now. Need some cleaning but beside dust most parts from this car are new. Bodyposts are missing.
