The Jaco's are good but the wheels are fragile. If you can, get the Jaco's with the yellow Serpent wheel. They are good and strong.

is this the right thing to do ? i just want to make sure this rrr is built as per the book from the beginning.
Not only can you not get enough ride height but I wasn't getting any droop. The shocks were too short. I installed the mid-sized ball cups and they work fine.

That hole in the windshield looks rather large.

ROAR says 50mm max.

Ive tried a front diff a couple of times now and it's pretty much just as fast as a One-way, just more easy to drive aggressively and more forgiving.

I guess it doesn't hurt to try... I've noticed a lot of the guys at my track drive aggressively becuase there are many turns. I guess I just have to see.

For some reason I only get 4mm droop on the left rear arm with the shocks taken off and about 6-7mm of droop on the right rear arm. It's weird because there isn't any binding.

Sorry officer. I know the rules say 50mm max (not really), but I guess I wasn't paying attention and before you know it, I was over the 50mm limit. Can I just get away with a warning this time? I'll be sure to keep it at or below 50mm next time.

maybe you are not using the right set screw (that lifts the arm that creates the droop). if the set screw is too small, it wont push the arm up high enough. my 2 cents.

It's not the screw because I took them out when frustrated with another issue. It's limited for some reason.

I'm assuming you checked the shocks length and they are the same, and you disconnected the sway bar, right?

Could it be the plastic on the knuckle, where the pivot ball comes up got jacked and limiting travel?

Thanks for asking.

Got the temp sensor working this weekend, which was great. Fabricated some clip-on brackets so that I could easily remove the recorder and attenna after I was done tuning. I don't want it on the car when I'm racing. I'm probably going to buy myself the optical RPM sensor, because I don't want to attach magnets to my new lightweight flywheel. I also need to buy myself a notebook ($200 for a leased returned Dell on ebay).

So far, so good.
