The parts list for the front diff is as follows:

VZ204 - Diff Housings front + rear + screws and seals.
VZ012 - Gear set including spacers and rubber grommets - enough for two diffs.
BS107 - Bevel shafts - enough for three diffs.
VZ218 - Outdrives for the front diff

There is a front diff housing with the RRR kit, but the rest you'll have to get.

Thinks that's all.

Cheers, Mark.

thank you i will let you know how it goes....

Look forward to hearing about the results.

Have you tried different tyre splits? I was wondering what the car would be like with a 1.5mm front-rear split .... that would give just under 2% front overdrive.

Cheers, Mark.

Yes i have tried up to a 3 slpit.......the car is pretty good.........What I am trying to do now is run with a 1 split or less....with different tire combos to keep the car as neutral as possible.

The problem Im having is the amount of tire wear i get from front to rear......In my qualifiers I nail the the size to cut the tires......and car is always ultra ballistic .... then when I get to the main and calculate my sizes the split is more than I would want to cut them too. That is where i have a problem, bercause as you know the mains are 30min to 1 hour depending on the race. For example w-nats qualifiers no prob.......main my car was a slouch ......due to incorrect split.

Do you mean the split changes too much during the main?

Yeah for an hour long race, tyre wear could get really critical - maybe worth thinking of a tyre change in such a long race.

The longest race I've done was 45 minutes - man my legs wouldn't move after the race, I'd hate to think what it would be like after one hour

The RRR gains steering with a much smaller front diameter tire? To me it seems counter intuitive. Can anybody explain?

I'll leave it to Art Carbonell to explain:

I'm kind of wondering if this is a problem with the kit. I decided to completely redo my alignment and when I was adjusting the downstop, the drive shaft was hanging out on the edge of the outdrives. In order for the drive shaft to be seated properly, with a 200mm trackwidth, the wheel offset would have to be something like 3-4mm. I'm thinking, "That can't be right. Can it?".

In the manual, step 22 shows that the distance between the pivot ball and the rear hub should be 4.2mm front and 4.5 mm back - but when you adjust the downstop and then the trackwidth, it's more than this - even with the wheels from the kit.

Maybe I'm missing something?

Yikes! Just three more days till the championship. How am I going to fix this?
