They just shield and "filter" your wires as electricity flows through them. I don't think they are necessary, but if you're glitching, that may be something to try.

I have heard that they resist changes in current, thus affecting punch, can anybody confirm or dis-prove this?

They work as surge protectors in many household electronics... Check out a playstaions leads for a few examples...

ohhhh okay i never noticed that their the same as on my ps2 i have a extra controller i might just have to steal it for my tc3

I use them, but honestly can't say I notice anything. From what I understand, they're like a filter taking out noise and keep the flow of electric running more consistently. I had them oon my car this weekend and it glitched, so I can't say it helped that.

they smothen the flow of current ''i think'' because there on my diskman power adapter if they do anything il use em on my x ray

you can only but try.....but if you don't have any glitching or anything why use them? they only add more weight.
