I have just bought the VFS-1 after frying my QC2 and it is true to all the hype! This esc is definitley a keeper. I ran it in the 415 today and it had so much punch! I cant wait till i start messing with the ICS interface and setting profiles! Thumbs up to KO for a great product.

Dang, I am still waiting for mine... now i am all excited hearing from Myker.

I want to run the 19t w/ the hara 2.1 because I won't get my ics yet... what kind of gearing should i use to get the most out of it?

yeah see i was going to get the 2.1 from tower but i couldn't wait so i just went and the the regular VFS-1 Pro. i was like i really couldn't care if my esc has fake carbon and a lower heat shut off. Its not like i run anything besides stock.

But i can guarantee that you will love the VFS no matter what. It is by far the best i have tried although i have only had the qc2 and the V12 before.

I've geared my 19T Peak V2 at around 5.4 FD on my pro4...no problem with the esc overheating... I was running the '04 Roar Nats 19T profile...great profile to start with...

would it be possible to use the hara profile on the 2.1? because i won't be able to program the darn thing until i get a ics connector thingy. and i don't want to wait to try this thing out once i get it. so i was wondering if the hara profile would work w/ a 19T, but using a different gearing.

Is it possible for me to buy [KO-61006] (the multi settings adapter) without the memory card? What's the downside to not having this memory card? Can you still program without it?

Would the KO-61002 KO ICS- PC Interface cable work with the hara twister 2.1?

Need some answers! Thanks!

you need the card to make the connection between the handheld and the ESC. the new handhelds only work with the newer VFS-1's and related speedos like the Hara 2 and 2.1, yokomo's and rayspeed versions.
and I beleive with another module..you can make adjustments to KO servos as well.

How about the KO-61002 KO ICS- PC Interface cable? would it work with the hara twister 2.1?

I want to get the computer version much more than the hand held.

you need this cable for the VFS-1. It works with the servos too that have ICS.

Great product. easy to use and gets the job done with a small footprint. GFab be sure to run all caps and diodes that it comes with.

Thanks Myker for the reply, but I was wondering if anyone has any info on the KO-61002 KO ICS- PC Interface cable and if it would work. I do not have any KO servos, and not planning on getting any in the near future, so I do not need the extra hardware for it.

Because the 61002 costs $20 less I want to buy that cable instead. I need those $20 to buy an ultimate schotki diode (single) so I can run modified with my VFS-1. I am sooooo poor.
