They are close, but not the same. The widths and the letter designations are the same from the 415 style to the 416 style but the profile in the center of the blocks has been changed to accommodate belt clearance. Check out this link:

It has pretty good illustrations to show the differences.
Are you thinking of running TC with us this winter at Onelug?

We missed you last night we thought we were going to have to cancel right after practice started that big storm hit. When it stopped we got the track dried in about hour. 30 min of practice then raced.

So after a few runs a few months back, and advice from more seasoned veterans, I needed more flex in my chassis. I did everything from the kente h mod and only running the 2 farthest screws on the bulk head to putting 2.5 mm spacers under the top deck. After I heard that conversion kits were coming out to increase flex, I got excited. I was communicating through sepes and smokem. They are both a similar design. I ultimately decided to go with smokem for a few reasons. #1 I have those lower deck and am VERY satisfied with their quality.#2 the smokem came with both sides of the bearing holder (more complete kit at a much cheaper price $25 different if I am not mistaken) #3 the smokem holds the bearing in place without having to run the kentech mod. Engineering took small details into account. I will hopefully race soon and report back.
Am I the only one who reamed out my arms? I've reamed out my arms on every chassis I've owned from my ta04, to my yokomo mr4tc back in '99 and now this one. I was hesitant at first but after a few runs I noticed binding. I only took a piece of 800 grit and 2000 grit sand paper and sanded the holes(did not ream with a drill bit or nail) I just wanted smooth articulation and I achieved it. Anyone else do something similar?
