It has pretty good illustrations to show the differences.

Are you thinking of running TC with us this winter at Onelug?
Yes I was going to come a few times. I just need a few parts to set it up for carpet.

I have my shock lengths at 61.5mm should the front be longer or all 4 comers should be the same and if so is 61.5mm to long or is that the correct length.

Mine are at 61.2, but I keep getting told to run them at 62.5 like everyone else. I'm gonna go lighter shock fluid so I need to be set and done and which measurement to go.

It doesn't make a huge difference, shorter is a little more grip. To get shorter than 61mm you have to cut the piston thread, below 60.5mm you can't get enough droop at the rear, so 61.5 is pretty much optimal

Had anybody tried different shock pistons for the TRF work shocks or used the blank TRF pistons and tried 4 holes instead of 3.

I have some Reflex Racing 3x1.1 in my TRF shocks I have in my TB03, Reflex also make 4 hole pistons and soft bladders that work real well.
We missed you last night we thought we were going to have to cancel right after practice started that big storm hit. When it stopped we got the track dried in about hour. 30 min of practice then raced.

How do the 3x1.1 work? I asked Christian at reflex and he said they didn't fit.

So after a few runs a few months back, and advice from more seasoned veterans, I needed more flex in my chassis. I did everything from the kente h mod and only running the 2 farthest screws on the bulk head to putting 2.5 mm spacers under the top deck. After I heard that conversion kits were coming out to increase flex, I got excited. I was communicating through sepes and smokem. They are both a similar design. I ultimately decided to go with smokem for a few reasons. #1 I have those lower deck and am VERY satisfied with their quality.#2 the smokem came with both sides of the bearing holder (more complete kit at a much cheaper price $25 different if I am not mistaken) #3 the smokem holds the bearing in place without having to run the kentech mod. Engineering took small details into account. I will hopefully race soon and report back.

Am I the only one who reamed out my arms? I've reamed out my arms on every chassis I've owned from my ta04, to my yokomo mr4tc back in '99 and now this one. I was hesitant at first but after a few runs I noticed binding. I only took a piece of 800 grit and 2000 grit sand paper and sanded the holes(did not ream with a drill bit or nail) I just wanted smooth articulation and I achieved it. Anyone else do something similar?

I run the ride pro matched standard bore and love them. It's a balance between hpi and tamiya. The length of the tamiya at the rate a tad softer than the hpi springs.

Here is the image of the smokem mount. As you can see, perfect color match to the tamiya parts.
