Arrr sorry I misread your post, I thought you were proposing 600cst rear diff.

Yes I think 600k is too light for the front, I always use putty. Maybe you could use 1mil or 2mil oil in 21.5. I have a suspicion the front diff will make traction roll worse as it will let the front roll deeper into the corner, see how you go I guess.
Ill check with them and see if they got 1mil. Thanks

I rolled it in the turn at the end of the straight in the first heat in the second heat I rolled it exiting the sweeper. In the B main while leading rolled it entering the turn at the end of the back straight. As fast as the guy's in 17.5 are you can't come back from any big mistakes. I have a front diff it still rolled so I can only hope I spray the track this week so the grip is not that high!lol
Hahahahaha no just do it the same way as usual. I need to let off in turns

I'm running 1k in the rear diff right now and my car seems to be really good. The car rotates a lot harder. I'm running a 4.5 and as long as you have some kind of throttle control the car doesn't do anything weird.

Strange that you guys are traction rolling on asphalt. Can you post a full setup sheet and some pics/video of the track?

You should lose steering and gain rear grip. I find the low RC in the rear makes the car pretty unstable, so I stick to 0.5mm under the blocks. I think you should stick with 1.5/2, I found my car is more likely to roll with 1.5 rear camber

It really depends on the traction level. At AOC recently I was diffing out with 2k, 3k was not as fast but it was all I could do to have a consistent car once the grip came up.

Craig this is a video of a nitro main but this is our track. F1 cars were super hooked up last week the grip level was off the charts we race at night and the grip level comes up as the track cools off. Last week we were running lap times when the sun was out that we don't usually see till 10 pm at night.

Craig my rolls are according to manual. 3mm shims outside and inside in rear and 4mm front inside. I tried to remove the 1mm but the ball stud is too long and it touches the outdrives.

This are all the pics i have as of now, i can get closer ones on sat.

Wow nice track, wish I had visited Fresno when I was in the US earlier this year! Is it sugar water or VHT? What chassis are you guys running, V5s?

I have an old setup from TITC 2012 which you might be able to use elements of:
http://www.petitrc.com/reglages/tami...Phee_TITC2012/

This setup has extra anti dive and a higher rear RC to reduce grip at both ends. It also has more rear camber change than usual to stop the car getting up on the outside of the rear tire and traction rolling, so it may help on your track

Craig we are using coke syrup a in a 15 gal ag tank that puts down a solid 8' wide path. It is very tacky don't where flip flops they would be stuck to the track.

Nice pictures George!

Maybe if you and Brian ran slow lap times like me, you wouldn't traction roll. Hahahaha
