"............
How do you keep the weight down to the 1500gr?

XXX-s G+ complete to race weights 1590-1600gr.
I don't has anything different:
Orion motor
GP cells
Quantum ESC
Futaba 9450 servo
Novak XXL receiver
Titanium screws
Proline wheels
CS tires and inserts
Proline stratus body painted with fascolor
................."

I have put this question some time ago with no definite answer.
Are there different chassis weights?
Why some of you have to put weight to be legal and others are struglling to keep weight down?
As I said before I have no aluminum and no aftermarket parts.
So ????

KevinK >> Selling your Losi? Going to the dark-side? European or Japanese?

BTW: Those Yokomo hexes rule! I added them to the car this weekend and I really like 'em.

Those are personal transponders from AMB.

Does Yokomo make a clamping hub to fit the XXXS, or are people modifying the metric Yokomo hubs to fit?

I used the TC3 hub for carpet, but went back to the Dynamite hub for asphault, the O-Ring works really well, propably not as easy as the clamp hubs, but definately not much harder either...

RichO.....Yeah Im selling my car but I might get another one next fall or maybe try out the Pro-4. From what I have seen so far from this car it looks very good with little track time. And its time for a change of pace as well. How did you end up at the race over the weekend? Glad you like the hexes they are sweet.

i'm putting in my new belt(hd) today, anything i should do special? On the metal brace, that second hole is for the regular belt, well, do you use the standard pully or have to get a new one, just wondering incase it breaks(belt) and since there in such low supply.

I dont think there is anything you could really break on the HD setup, use the larger pulley that it includes.

KevinK >> I ended up 7th. I let Busse by like a putz. I thought he was coming up to lap me, but alas, it was for position. Next time... heh.... We had a great time. The scenery at the steak place wasn't too bad at the end of the night either.

My car is soo much better than it was a month ago. I either peak to early or too late. I am going to try it on the asphalt with foams on Saturday to see what it does.

If you get bored, come on down for one of the events this spring. Remember, you have a "5 mins from the track" option for accomodation.

RichO.....Thats too bad you let Busse...lol. But dinner with a "View" Im sure made up for it.... Yeah I know what your saying about peaking to early or too late.....I had a rough weekend at snowbirds then a couple weeks later I end up qualifing second and only 4 seconds off of Ray Darroch at the USTC race at Trackside. So I feel your pain...lol. When are the races at dummies place? Depending on when they are I will try to make it out to maybe one of them this summer....let me know the dates and what not.
